HCTC is making emergency Wi-Fi available from clearly marked remote network cabinets across our service area. These access points are designed to allow Wi-Fi calling so residents, travelers, and first responders can place emergency calls when other services are unavailable. The network is not intended for general internet use, but rather to provide a critical communication lifeline during urgent situations.

This initiative reflects HCTC’s long-standing commitment to community-first solutions. For more than 75 years, HCTC has invested in infrastructure not simply to deliver connectivity, but to strengthen the communities that depend on it.
